Ty's Camp Out..... Without Dad!!!
Ty had his first over night camp out without Torry! Fisherman's Haven was a perfect place. The weather was great and the lake was beautiful! I can't believe my little man slept all alone in that little blue tent. They nicknamed him "Pyro". I'll let your imagination run with that one! Kody wanted to stay so bad, but he'll have to wait until he gets older!

Great Day
I hung out all day with Ty and Kody. We left this morning and went into Austin with no real plans in mind. I pretty much did whatever they wanted to do. Ty was in search of a new toy gun and Kody wanted the 5x5 Rubik's cube. To my shock, they told me they had never been to Toys R Us. I guess we really have lived out in Marble Falls for all of their childhood and it never even crossed my mind that they had not been there. I've gone several times for Christmas shopping.... but anyway... we went there. We walked around for a while, but Kody was convinced that Walmart is cheaper. Haha!! So we left with nothing. They couldn't find exactly what they were looking for. We went to Whole Foods, Barton Creek Mall, Barnes and Noble, Party Store, Big Lots, Best Buy, Chic-fil-a, etc.... Ty finally found "the gun" at HEB of all places!! And we have that in MF! (Kody will have better luck on Amazon for the 5x5)
We also went to the TX State Capitol. (We ran into Ty's 5th grade teacher!)
We had fun today and I'm really enjoying the boys at this age! They have been a lot of fun!

The Story Of "Time Out for Women"
It all began here.......
Jackie, Cyndi, Roxanne, Me, Carman, and Windy all got together
for a fun girls weekend. We attended a women's conference
held in The Woodlands. We started out the night with a delicious meal!

I have been to several of these "Time Out" events in the past
and I really enjoy hearing the messages from each of the speakers.
Roxanne convinced Cyndi to join in with the crowd with enthusiastic clapping.

What is this??? The infomercial that captivated our attention....
the one that erased the idea of actually wanting to fall asleep.....

During one of the breaks...... we took pictures with some of the musicians and speakers. Hahaha! This is Kenneth Cope... I had a crush on him from the EFY days......
(That was almost 20 years ago!)

I was so excited to see Jill Allred! This is Adrian and Beth's aunt and it was so fun to talk to her and catch up for a little bit. I had been looking for her throughout the day and Carman spotted her for me! We had a great time! She is sooo nice!
Of course, we talked about Beth and wished she was here too.... she had me all teary eyed before too long!

After the conference..... the girls wanted to go shopping. I'm not a big shopper,
so I took that time to call my Mom and catch up with her.....
