Got out this morning with Denise and Deanna and ran 7.5 miles. It took us 1hr and 11 minutes. We were running about 9:30/mile. We went outside our neighborhood and did some hill training during this run, which was harder than normal... but it felt good. There are lots of people in town for the boat races. The park was full of campers and cool speed boats. Made it a little more interesting. =) HaHa!
Here is my training schedule that I followed for the Country Music Marathon...
This time, I am doing weight training on M, W, F....
T, Th are my running days....
And Saturdays are my "longer" running days.
Sunday is OFF! So, I just completed week 5...

Are YOU addicted??

10. You check your blog stats a LOT. You occasionally get up in the middle of the night and sneak a peak.

9. Your significant other suspects you are having an affair with your blog. Even when you’re alone with your special person, you do find yourself thinking what your blog might be doing right then…

8. You “mental blog” while driving or on the train, and sometimes even when you are alone in the shower.

7. You filter everything through your post-writing. You can’t watch a movie, see a play, read an article, or share a sweet moment with your child without thinking of whether it’s blog-worthy.

6. You suffer from “blog envy” when another blogger posts something juicy before you do. You suffer “comment envy” when said post gets 40-something comments – the jerk!

5. You “binge blog” 3 or 4 posts at once—only to feel guilty and empty afterward.

4. You ditched all your real friends for blog friends, because, well, “they understand.”

3. You think, “I can stop at any time.”

2. Your lunch hour has become your “blog hour.” You keep a few posts tucked in your desk in case you need them during the day.

1. After 5 minutes of meeting someone really interesting you ask, “So - do you blog?”

All By Myself!!!
I fixed the closet door in Kody's room. This has been an ongoing saga and when it got right down to it... it took me about 10 minutes. I can't believe I put it off for so long. I wonder how many other things could be fixed if I just addressed them instead of procrastinating!!

This weekend... the youth put on a production called "Savior of the World." They did a great job and we really enjoyed it!

After the play yesterday in Austin... We all went back to the Dillard's sale and the JCPenney sale. Torry and Chase got all stocked up on work clothes. It felt like they were on a shopping spree because Dillard's is hard core about closing at exactly 9pm.... so it was a little chaotic. Haha! Torry broke a sweat!
JCPenney stayed open till 10pm, so that helped!

Marathon Training Update...
Today was 6 miles! Went out with two of my friends and had a great morning run. For the last 4 or 5 weeks, I've been doing between 5 and 6 miles on Saturdays... but from now on, I will be adding a mile each week. Next week, I will try to post my training schedule for the next 5 months. Still hoping some of you might want to run the marathon with me and Linda!
It's the Texas Marathon, held in Kingwood on New Years Day! Let me know!! Could be fun!?
Check out Jeff Galloway's book .... "Marathon, You Can Do It!!"
