When Worlds Collide

Carman has been hanging out with me this week while she waits on her electricity to be turned back on at her home in Houston. Today Jessica came over and we decided it would be fun to go to the Western Store in Marble Falls. I've always wanted to go look around in there, but because I'm a "city slicker".... I figured they could see me coming a mile away.....
But with my 2 kicker friends... I was safe.......Trying to convince me that these things are cute!

11 Miles in St Kitts

Here are pictures from the golf course at the Marriott. This is where I ran the 11 miles. This was by far the most beautiful run EVER!! =)

So..... I guess my husband really missed me while I was gone! I was suprised once again today when the doorbell rang and there was roses waiting for me! Me and Carman were cracking up and she had to snap a photo.... Every moment is a blogging moment I guess!

Hurricane Ike!
Well, I made it home from my very fun vacation!
Thanks to Hurricane Ike, I flew into the Dallas Airport instead of Houston. My parents were also flying out that same day for their vacation to Italy! So... they left my car parked at the airport for me. To my surprise... Torry was there to greet me! I was so relieved that I didn't have to drive home all by myself in the middle of the night. We arrived back to Marble Falls at about 3:15am. I have lots and lots of pictures to update from my trip... but we had computer problems and I'm waiting for Beth to Fedex me the CD.... so, hopefully I'll get to update on that next week sometime.

So, Saturday night.... we got a babysitter and went out for a nice dinner.  We started out at Diamond Cut for our main meal.  Yummy!  It was so nice and delish...  

Then we went to Marshall's for dessert!

Keeping in touch!  Thank goodness for skype!  The internet here is touch and go, but it's nice when I do get to see and talk to the boys.  Torry has been so awesome at home and I'm so grateful that I have the chance to take this trip!
