Ok.... so after we gathered at my house Saturday morning..... we headed over to the Marriott for Randy's Elvis show.

10 cousins got together for one fun morning....
It didn't take long for the fun to begin.... =)


















It is always so much fun to see all of our cousins! Ty and Kody LOVE having people in the house! We have never laughed sooo hard at all the craziness! We were constantly running to get the camera to capture these moments. (All the hoopla happened within approximately an hour)
You never know what to expect with 10 kids under 11 yrs old.... (3 of those were infants)
I really do appreciate these times!

Running Buddies!

We have been online running buddies for several years now. Denise and I run together in Marble Falls and I did most of my marathon training with her. But I check in with Carman and Cathy every day online. We have a little website that we created so we can keep track of our training.... (although we don't use the website anymore, we still keep up with each other!)
So.... this weekend Carman finally got to meet Denise in person! It was so fun. After our work out, we ended up going over to Denise's house.
Cathy met Denise back in January!
One day, we will get all 4 of us together at the same time!

Chi Iron Fun....

Yes, yes....... for those who know me.... I love to straighten hair! If I would have had a "Chi" in high school, I could have finally beaten the HUMIDITY in Pasadena! =)
So.... any chance I get...... I take!!
My niece's are visiting us for the weekend, and I couldn't resist!! Jayde is on the left and Taylor on the right! How cute are they!?!????

We went down to the Tanger Outlets a few days ago...
Torry has called me his "Honey Bunches" forever! Then it evolved to just "Bunches!"
So, we cracked up when we saw this new cereal...........

I know this probably happens to every parent..... but I REALLY wish I could have recorded the conversation that I just had with my boys for the last hour. Somehow we started talking about the internet and how I didn't have the internet when I was their age.


Kody wanted to know "how we looked up stuff on Google?"
I explained that there wasn't Google....... we had encyclopedia........


They couldn't FATHOM not having a Play Station 2. I told them that my neighbor had an Atari that I played every now and then. They were completely shocked. I wish I could have captured their expressions on their faces.

I had to explain the concept of no cell phones........
the fact that my Dad used to have a "car phone" that was bolted down to the car and this was 10 years before anyone else had a car phone. We thought we were sooo cool.


Before the cool cell phone........ we relied on a pager...

Anyway......... they went on and on about everything and were completely shocked by most things we talked about.
Ty asked me if I hated my life back then? Was I sad that we didn't have the internet and computers and my cell phone, etc.... haha!!
I told him I didn't even know about all of those things and I was having fun playing basketball, going to dances, hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, etc.

He said......... "Yall had movies back then!?!?!????"
