The boys had their friends spend the night last night... They had big plans to stay up all night, but I'm pretty sure I heard snoring by 10pm!

We went out for a farewell dinner because the Allred's are moving to St. Kitts. Actually, Beth will still be around for a few weeks, but Adrian took off today.
Torry and Adrian grew up together in Port Neches. It was crazy one Sunday when they ran into each other at church here in Marble Falls.
We're going to miss them!

We had a great time at Ty's birthday party yesterday! Thank you to everyone who was able to come and make his day special!

We had a great weekend in Houston.... We went to Casa Ole for Ty's birthday and he loved it when they sang to him! We also enjoyed visiting with Torry's family. Sadie was blessed in church and we got together for a fun lunch at Meagan and Trent's house!

Last night, we had a Cub Scout pack meeting. Ty earned the Family Member and Fitness activity badges. He also participated in a cute skit and reported on their latest service project.
They were playing games before the meeting began which is my only excuse for why his shirt is unbuttoned and he looks like he just got home from happy hour! =)





Then, when we got home .... Torry had cake and the boys sang to me for my birthday! =)
It was cute and I loved it!
Kody wrote me a little book for my present, Ty played me a song that he learned in music, and Torry came through with a new set of Cuisinart Knives!!



I got lots of phone calls, cards, and visits from friends, so it was a great birthday!

My Aunt Melanie sent me these cute pictures of Ty and Kody for my birthday.... Scanning them does not do them justice.... the flowers are actually sticking in the pictures, so it's a 3-D effect....

OK, I guess I have to get back to normal life now... I just finished reading this series and it was so good! I can't believe I have actually convinced Torry to read them and he is almost finished with the first book!

Sick Day.... =(

We went on a fun Valentine's double date with Nate and Candace last night....
This was our first time to eat here, and we were really excited to try it out. We are usually the boring couple that always chooses Mexican food for dinner... haha... so Nate and Candace were excited to see us broaden our horizons....
I have to admit that is was AWESOME!! We had a great time and I think we ate for about 2.5 hours straight!!



My favorite was the DESSERT!! White chocolate with amaretto ...... with Strawberries, rice crispy treats, marshmallows, brownie bites, bananas, cheesecake, etc....

Yesterday we had a crowded house.... The kids had their friends over and I had to snap this cute picture of all of them. They are all so close it's like they are brothers and sisters... (playing, fighting, etc) They are lucky to have such good friends!
We have a couple in our church that have 7 kids.... so I was thinking this must be what it's like!?!?! HAHA! Can you imagine me with 7??

January has come and gone and I didn't update at all!
I feel like this has just been a recovery month. Christmas is always so busy, and I enjoy just relaxing in January. And now we are on to February.... (which just happens to be my favorite month because of Valentine's Day and my birthday!) I'm going to be 34 this month!! That just sounds crazy! But I'm excited to bring on another year!


























I spent the morning moving Ty's stuff into our guest bedroom that will now be HIS bedroom. He is about to be 10 years old in a few short weeks, so I feel like it is time for him to have his own space.

A few weeks ago, we went down to Houston to celebrate my Meemaw's 80th birthday! It was so fun to see her with all of her 10 children! When everyone was singing to her, it was so cute! What a great life she has and to be able to spend it with all of her family was wonderful!
