Kody will be turning 8 this week and he couldn't be more excited! He had his interview with the Bishop today as he prepares to be baptized. We are having a big pool party wednesday night with all of his friends and then he will be baptized on Saturday.

A few camp highlights....

Meaning 1 day of Cub Scout Camp down, and 2 days to go!
We survived today and it was so hot outside. The day was full of archery, soccer, building a secret box, LBJ ranch (for my 3rd time!), and HEAT, HEAT, HEAT!
We drank lots of water and pretended to have fun!


Interesting fact of the day.... they use lace curtains as screens!

I was separated from Ty and Kody most of the day.... but ran into Kody on one of the tours...

It's official! I've signed up for my 2nd Marathon! This time, I will be staying close to home and running in the Texas Marathon on New Years Day just outside of Houston. This Marathon will be much much smaller than the Country Music Marathon that I did last year, but I'm looking forward to no hills!! Reece and Linda will be joining me and I'm excited about that. I think it really helps to have the support of friends and family there. So... the invitation is out.... if you want to do it with us.... let me know! What a crazy way to ring in the New Year! =)

We took the boys to this really cool skate park in Lakeway today. They loved it!

Today... around 11am this cute little "bambi" was crossing the road infront of us... It was so cute. It was going really slow and wobbly....

Happy 30th Birthday to Nathan!

Torry's cousin, David got married this weekend. The wedding was gorgeous! It was so fun seeing Matt, Meredith and Sam. They came into town from Dallas. It was the first time for us to meet little Sam. Meagan, Trent, Blair and Sadie were in town too. We had a great time visiting everyone over at Terry and Randy's on Sunday.
